Bought this Krups last year but didn't really get a chance to look into making proper espresso.
Last night decided to seriously do it properly, and hey check it out!
Krups XP5620 (bought during year end sale from Courts last year with free electric grinder at around $150, cheaper than most of our cables!!!
)
Tried make this beans that bought locally. Tried 4 times with grind size of 2.5, 1.8, 1.2 but all tasted sour!
Then tried the last time at 1.0 it taste better but not fantastic.
Guess it is not really suitable to make espresso
Then tried this beans from Sydney at grind size 1.8.
Crema looks good, taste isn't bad, aroma is decent. Maybe I should try with different grind size to get the better of it, will do so next time.
Lastly decide to try the Bali peaberry at grind size 1.8.
I must admit this is the best among the three. Look at the rich crema, the aroma is pretty strong and the taste is fantastic!
Have body and the extract is just nice. Taste like one we want to spend in a cafe!
Very nice and never expect the cheap Krups XP5620 can brew such quality espresso! Worth it!
Check it out at

After 6 cups of espresso during midnight, you can imagine my remaining night to be like
