Should implement email validation when creating a new user. If not will easily overflow with spam bots.

Thanks for the recommendation. I will look into the SMF anti spam feature and check whether this is available to the forum.

I have turned on the email activation features for new members registration. Please let me know if you face any issue on registration as some forum has report issue with this feature on.

Very sad to see that this site is not taking off.
Maybe it should be more specific, example catering
just for diy or something.

Quite a few are DIYers here...I for one do quite a lot but have slowed down a bit of late due to time and available space to work.
