yes agree the SNA web site has became too commercial that I seldom visit the site lately and anyway soon all the local will migrate to local Singapore forum that will serve it purpose. Such a waste for the EX- Xtremeplace web site.

HifiCafe.SG Feedback / Goodbye SNA

In an SN post I have said my bit...and I quote

"I've lost all my feedback (over 9 years of posting in XPL) and never had interest in a regional global forum never mind the chaos of a global one.

XPL was by Singaporeans for Singapore and fortunately we have other local users who are fulfilling this need now. And in this regard you will likely see very little of the really active XPL users back here - IMHO.

Goodbye to you all in the rest of the world as I dont have time to in my life to contribute in a global platform.

Good luck @Marc ... wish you all great times ahead but I doubt ill be dropping in here much now, so have fun guys - too much flashy advertising and visual distractions now that detracts greatly from the content.

A Kiwi who is homed in Singapore.

Singapore HiFi shop / RUSS ANDREWS SuperClamp - S$65
« Last post by SD on June 09, 2021, 06:16:55 PM »
Clamping spikes and surges
SuperClamps are plug-in devices designed to improve the sound of your Hi-Fi or Home Cinema by reducing the effects of mains voltage spikes.
SuperClamps consist of two components – one a fast, solid state device culled from aerospace applications and the other a varistor to absorb the spike energy. These two components are mounted into a mains plug which you simply plug into a power socket (one close to your Hi-Fi system is ideal). Nothing needs to be connected to the plug – they will work as long as the socket they are plugged into is switched on. They are not designed to replace the 13A plug on a cable.

HiFi Audio Equipment Discussion / Borrow Spectral DMC-30 Remote Control?
« Last post by PTOng on June 08, 2021, 08:18:25 PM »
Left batteries in my Spectral preamp remote for too long. Battery blew up. Remote dead. But now there's no Spectral dealers in Singapore.

Looking for Spectral owners who could lend me their remote, so I can program a learning remote.

I'd appreciate any suggestion on how else to deal with this problem.

Thanks!
