yes, using a quality neutral distributor to compare is the best way like what Watchdog has done. and I base my buying on their recent evaluation here and decide which receptacles sound characteristic I like.

Anyway after further listen session on the receptacles , this is my take on the receptacles:

SINE , SW-2LP US(Platinum )
Vocal is nice as it place the singer more forward and you can pinpoint the vocal image very clearly, this mid range vocal is essential to music. The high frequency range is nice for jazz music enjoy as you can hear all the high frequency details, but if you system is already on the bright side, then this receptacles may not be suitable as it will give too much treble. Bass control is the weak link here as not as tightly control. Sound stage depth and width is quite ok. receptacles come with the aluminum face plate so is cost saving here.

Furutech GTX-D NCF
Vocal image is place further behind so it gives more image depth perception. Bass control is good as tightly control the bass woofer. High frequency details is very well present and is very sweet sounding, will not get listening fatigue. Bad is very expensive here and best to buy it from amazon Japan, also does not match with SINE aluminum face plate, end up I need to buy another face plate to match it.

I will change to the Oyaide R1 later to compare and will update back on this thread in future.

Bro Darknight, which other brand of cable have you try on the sound system for evaluation? actually I have an LCR meter that can measure accurately the cable impedance, may be next time we can perform the impedance measurement and built up the cable electrical characteristic with an objective listen to how the cable sound, that will be great.

Hard to do receptacle AB test as normally need at least two weeks to burnt in to achieve best sound... So after reading Bro watch dog review of the few receptacle on distributor  , I just pick one that think will best suited for my system. So far I think Furutech receptacle is quite matching to my system.

I actually have one pcs of Oyaide R1, may be will try switch to it and test. Actually I have been using the Oyaide R1 on MTS6 for a long time, I just think the vocal mid range sound thin, that is why change to Furutech. But if you want try Furutech receptacle, must use the NCF type... recommend by one of hifi kaki.

Wow , that's great! will be waiting for your review... but I am sure will be best match for your speaker. Do keep us updated on your design. I am sure if some forumer have heard your system sound, they will request your help to build a set too!

I also believe in Nelson Pass theory on single end design, use as little parts and make the circuit as simple as possible. The more parts you add in circuit will degrade the sound.

I think the magic is from your full range speaker as the sound is phase coherent , you get the image and sound stage very realistic and 3D. As your speaker has very high efficiency of 92dB, you might as well try built some Nelson Pass single end class A amplifier, I think it will be best match for your sound system. Single end amp does not have the cross over distortion of push pull amp and is very linear, also the circuit is very simple with few parts and low cost.

The Furutech GTX-D NCF has better control of bass and it gives a very refine treble... those metal brush sound from jazz were present nicely. Overall it also has more depth. Those harsh CD I have all sound nice with GTX-D NCF. overall I will say is one grade better than the SINE receptacle in sound quality, you will not regret getting it. I am still burnt in the receptacle, and the sound start open out wider stage and vocal sound more realistic.
As my outlet metal casing is built inside the wall, so I cannot use the 105D and the furutech face plate, else I think the sound will improve even further. I will implement this if I plan to run a separate power line in future.

The chair is quite solid and heavy... reasonable comfortable even sit for long duration. I would prefer the chair height have better adjustment height range and defintely have to be in air con room else will be hot as leather does not dissipate heat easily. Your HM Aeron B may be a better choice for our climate here.

yes, it proves at least the high level math has some useful to our daily staff...haha
This guy math skill is power! as he solved using linear differential equations method, then he used a second method using Laplace transform method to solve  and is very elegant. Good exercise for the brain..haha
