Give Dynaudios a try, esp if you like bass.

Have been on these receptacles for 5-6 years. Entire system changed over the years. Most recent was BAC & and China FE clones.

yes, using a quality neutral distributor to compare is the best way like what Watchdog has done. and I base my buying on their recent evaluation here and decide which receptacles sound characteristic I like.

https://hificafe.sg/forum/index.php?topic=260.0

Anyway after further listen session on the receptacles , this is my take on the receptacles:

SINE , SW-2LP US(Platinum )
Vocal is nice as it place the singer more forward and you can pinpoint the vocal image very clearly, this mid range vocal is essential to music. The high frequency range is nice for jazz music enjoy as you can hear all the high frequency details, but if you system is already on the bright side, then this receptacles may not be suitable as it will give too much treble. Bass control is the weak link here as not as tightly control. Sound stage depth and width is quite ok. receptacles come with the aluminum face plate so is cost saving here.

Furutech GTX-D NCF
Vocal image is place further behind so it gives more image depth perception. Bass control is good as tightly control the bass woofer. High frequency details is very well present and is very sweet sounding, will not get listening fatigue. Bad is very expensive here and best to buy it from amazon Japan, also does not match with SINE aluminum face plate, end up I need to buy another face plate to match it.

I will change to the Oyaide R1 later to compare and will update back on this thread in future.

Bro JB, did you get a chance to compare with R1/R0? I was considering changing Maestro to R0..although i hear that it might be v similar sound to Maestro

Wondering if anyone had a chance to compare sine SAT 3000 with Plixir Elementa BAC 1500, as they're roughly in the same price bracket. Plixir is obviously the favorite these days, but sine gives u an option of having boh 110v & 220v outlets in the same chassis

Interested to hear the R1 as well

Hard to do receptacle AB test as normally need at least two weeks to burnt in to achieve best sound...

even after fully burnt in, it would be laborious to change the wall receptacles. Guessing the easiest way to compare would be to connect them to a good quality neutral distributor and compare sound characteristics.

Have been on Maestro receptacles for over 5 years. was also fancying an upgrade. Really liked the bro wathdog's Furutech sound in a short listen. not sure will enjoy it in the long term. Also it seems insanely expensive here. Need to get from Japan.

Anyone tried those cheap China made grounding boxes. Quite a few MOs and dealers these days.

The Furutech GTX-D NCF has better control of bass and it gives a very refine treble... those metal brush sound from jazz were present nicely. Overall it also has more depth. Those harsh CD I have all sound nice with GTX-D NCF. overall I will say is one grade better than the SINE receptacle in sound quality, you will not regret getting it. I am still burnt in the receptacle, and the sound start open out wider stage and vocal sound more realistic.
As my outlet metal casing is built inside the wall, so I cannot use the 105D and the furutech face plate, else I think the sound will improve even further. I will implement this if I plan to run a separate power line in future.

Nice bro...did you happen to compare any other reputed ones? Oyaide R1 or likes? i know it's not easy to AB like cables. just asking

I've spent some time evaluating various interconnects at varied price brackets ($1xx to $6xxx). The outcome has been an insightful one. While there is not day and night differences, my findings are that as one moves up the line with better and more advance cable builds, there is simply more refinement, resolution, decay and micro dynamics when done right.

In my evaluations, there was a cable that left me astounded. It was one of the cheaper cables of the bunch with performance that was close to the average of the cables I had tested. It is well balanced, full and articulate with good clarity and extension at both ends of the spectrum. Due to the cable's quiet and 'black' nature, it presented above average detail with a liquidity that was quite captivating! If I had to nitpick, and without consideration to price, it lacked the utmost resolution, micro dynamics and control of the deepest bass notes. Considering the price (RRP USD 500 for 6 feet xlr ic) and in comparison to top tier, top dollar cables, this is high praise!

I throughly enjoyed my time with this cable and will very enthusiastically recommend it to anyone looking for a high performance cable for little money. Overall, it is quite neutral in character with a slight emphasis in the mids. It is well balanced throughout with a smoothness that is not overly analytical or fatiguing for longer listening sessions. I would be hard pressed to do better at this price point.

The cable described here is none other than the Soundstring Gen II interconnect which is distributed locally by Horizon Acoustics in Singapore. Contact Mr Poon for an audition and pricing.

Thanks for sharing bro. Mind sharing briefly about your setup? Just for the context of the comparison.

Finally bought the  Furutech GTX-D NCF(R)  to replace the SINW wall outlet.... will report back how the Furutech as compare to SINE after install and listen. Buy from Japan Amazon will get the cheapest price.

How is this working out bro? I'm considering getting one too. However, a new one would be out of budget....so should look at a non NCF used one.

No sure about the Mongblan chair, but I just ordered a Secretlab Omega gaming and office chair. Price is about $100 more expensive but it look like will provide better support for the back.

Recall seeing this at the IT show. How do u find it so far.

Not able to find much info on the korean chairs, i ended up picking a used HM Aeron B on carousell. Working out well so far.

Found a more details analysis of this...the circuit is lump to an switch circuit with inductor and resistor in series as shown below:
From the final solved equation, the first term is the AC signal with a second term that generate DC signal depend on the condition...

Woah bro!

reminds me of UG exam prep : )

But if you are talking about DC offset at AC supply, I don't think such issue exist in AC circuit. The article you attached is giving wrong information to sell the product.

My friend actually got the APC senior engineer to measure this using some special industrial equipment from Fluke Networks. However, the challenge is, the industrial equipment equipment is not easy to come by, and also not quite affordable.
