Recently my rich maid who owns a coffee plantation in Indonesia brought back what they normally sell....
Roasted coffee beans, in my opinion, highly roasted.
So in theory, it should taste very bitter without much aroma....
I decided to try brewing it and taste is it true...

Grinding with Hario grinder...
-
Putting the grind coffee beans onto Hario cloth filter with the V60.
-
Pouring in the hot water to start brewing...

My kampung kopi is done!
As I anticipated.... it taste bitter!
-
Too bitter for me, so I decided to add some condense milk...
-
This is how it looks like and yes it does taste better now....
Yummy!

Wow, talk about a dark roast ! I recently got a small batch of unroasted Arabica beans from a friend's plantation in Indonesia. I'll let you know how it turns out after roasting.
