DIY: AMB lab sigma 22 regulated power supply

(1/1)

jb:
We spent few hours solder two set of the sigma 22 regulated power supply from AMB lab. The PCB design is quite nicely done, but supplier have send some wrong value resistor parts , so could not done the measurement till we get the right parts. The circuit is quite simple and suppose quite low noise and good for audiophile application. Originally design is use to power their own power amplifier. Stay tune for our test measurement and listening test for audio...

Finally hook it up and start spinning my LP again after a few weeks.
I'm just getting lazy  ;D

Managed to hear for about 3 hours today.
Now it does get better control, more "muscle" with clearer & stable imaging.
Bare in mind I am using really cheap Belden wire with Neutrik plug for the leads from power supply to my Project RS phono amp.

I would need more hours to hear the improvement....
Guys, please be patient with me as it will take a while for me to spin records again  ;D
